If you browsing the website we may use the IP addresses to measure our site traffic and to help provide a customized shopping experience.  Your IP address is not linked to your customer information.

Return Policies

Shipment Claims

Shipping related claims must be received within 30 days of invoice date for ensuring resolution. Any claims received after 30 days will be rejected and returned to the customer. Examples of “shipping related claims” include: short shipments, damaged goods, packing slip vs. contents discrepancies, duplicate shipments, etc.

Insurance Parcel Post and UPS shipments are automatically insured at current rates.


Returns must be shipped prepaid and cannot be accepted without receiving a prior written or verbal Return Authorization (RA) Number from Boone Outdoor Hardware. The Return Authorization Number must be written on the outside of each box returned. Unauthorized returns cannot be accepted. Merchandise being returned for credit or restocking is subject to a 15% restocking charge. Additional charges will also be assessed for merchandise requiring new packaging. All resticking changes will be assessed at original purchase value. No credit can be extended for obsolete or worn merchandise.

Defective Merchandise Return Policy

Claims of defective product may be returned for the option of credit or replacement. However, prior to shipping any returns, it is the responsibility of the dealer to communicate their intention to Boone Outdoor Hardware before any shipment take place.

All claims of defective product returned to Boone Outdoor Hardware will first be evaluated for verification of actual product defect. All shipments falling under this category should be shipped back to Boone Outdoor Hardware prepaid. In the event the product is found to be defective, Boone Outdoor Hardware will reimburse the shipping originally incurred by the dealer.  Dealers are asked to refer to the “Returns” section outlined above when returning claims of defective product.

Products obviously tampered with, neglected or obsolete, are not covered by the policy.
